How to arrive
Hotel San Carlo
The Hotel San Carlo is in Via delle Carrozze, in the heart of the historical center of Rome, just 100 meters away from the famous Via Condotti and 200 meters away from Piazza di Spagna.
The hotel can be easily reached from the Grande Raccordo Anulare, linked to all the main motorways. From the GRA follow the indications to downtown and Villa Borghese. The hotel is in the traffic restricted area of Rome where the access with private cars isn’t permitted. We suggest that you park your car at the Parcheggio di Villa Borghese (rate 18€ a day), in Viale del Muro Torto, ten minutes on foot from the hotel.
Those arriving by train to the Termini railway station can easily reach the hotel taking the metro, line A, towards Battistini, and get off at the station Spagna (three stops). Alternatively it is possible to take the bus n. 492 that leaves from the square in front of the station and get off in Piazza San Silvestro (5 minutes on foot from the hotel).
From the Fiumicino airport: The Leonardo Express train connects the railway station inside the Fiumicino international airport to the Termini station, in the center of Rome, in about 35 minutes. The service is active from the Fiumicino airport from 06:23 to 23:23 and from Roma Termini from 05:35 to 22:35, con departures every 15-30 minutes according to time slots.
From the Ciampino airport:
The Ciampino airport, reference stopover for all main low cost air lines, is linked to the center of Rome with shuttles which supply direct connection service. The shuttles leave in front of the departure terminal and get to the Termini station in about 40 minutes.
